The FASTeTEN project management board convened for the third time in Versailles, France, on December 5-6, 2007. The board held a project management meeting, followed by a technical meeting on December 6, at which details of the FAST bundle of services were discussed by interested parties. FAST (from the French Fournisseur d’Accès Sécurisés Transactionnels) is a bundle of services providing secure, guaranteed electronic document exchange. FASTeTEN is a project to deploy FAST in local government settings, thus speeding up administrative processes.

During the meeting on December 5, project partners reviewed the different aspects of FASTeTEN, and found that work was being completed in general in line with planning and with project expectations.

A mid-term project workshop will be staged during 2008, and preparations for this are beginning. The workshop coordinator will be Baudouin de Sonis of FASTeTEN project partner e-Forum. He can be contacted on baudouin.de-sonis@eu-forum.org.
