FASTeTEN to stage September authentication workshopThe FASTeTEN project will hold a workshop at the World e-ID Summit, taking place in Sophia Antipolis, France, 21-24 September. The FASTeTEN workshop will take place on the morning of 22 September, and will examine the use of eGovernment authentication services in a number of contexts: in education, eProcurement, policing and health, and municipal services. Attendees at the FASTeTEN workshop will be given access at preferential rates to the suite of events taking place around the World e-ID Summit: eSmart, Smart Mobility and Smart University. An outline agenda for the workshop is shown below. More information will be published in due course. FASTeTEN is an authentication project supported by the European Commission’s eTEN programme, with the main objective being to validate the adaptability of the FAST (Fournisseur d’Accès Sécurisés Transactionnels) infrastructure and technologies for every administrative procedure and constraint, in any country. FAST has been developed to become a standardisation tool for IT communication at a large scale. FAST was initially developed in a French public sector context.
